The National Border Patrol Council has been actively lobbying members of the U.S. Congress in our bid to ensure that Border Patrol Agents are not adversely affected by the CBP Pay Reform Plan. The plan which CBP is pushing forward would cause a loss of pay for frontline Border Patrol Agents through the elimination of AUO and FLSA. This pay reform is being touted as a cost-savings measure, yet not a single dime is being saved under this plan. CBP is simply reallocating funds from Border Patrol to OFO and OAM.
