FLSA Reinstatement Senate Bill – 114th Congress

A Bill to clarify that certain provisions of the BPAPRA of 2014 will not take effect until after the Director of OPM promulgates and makes effective regulations relating to such provisions is available to see here: FLSA Reinstatement Bill

This Bill would be retroactive to the date of enactment of the BPAPRA of 2014 and will reinstate FLSA for BPA’s until full enactment of the BPAPRA.

The Bill is necessary to counter the effect on pay due to CBP & OPM’s interpretation that BPA’s were considered FLSA exempt upon passage of the BPAPRA into law on December 18, 2014.

Thank you to Senators Johnson, McCain, Tester and Carper for introducing the Bill.
