This announcement is to serve as official notice to all Union Members of the upcoming Union Business Meeting for the National Border Patrol Council, Local 3307. The meeting is scheduled to take place at:
Fairfield Inn & Suites – Harlingen
4111 S. Expressway 83 – Harlingen, TX 78552
The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Dinner will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m.

NOMINATION NOTICE – JANUARY 13, 2026
FOR DELEGATES TO THE NBPC COUNCIL CONVENTION
AND THE AFGE DISTRICT 10 CAUCUS
In accordance with the AFGE National Constitution, AFGE Local 3307 will hold a regularly scheduled membership meeting at 7:00 pm on January 29, 2026, at The Fairfield Inn & Suites (4111 S. Expressway 83 – Harlingen, TX 78552) to vote on the following matters:
- Whether the Local will participate in the NBPC Council Convention in April 2026 where the delegates will elect the NBPC Council Officer and the AFGE District 10 Caucus in May 2026 where the delegates will elect the AFGE District 10 Vice-President;
- Whether the Local will be represented by delegate(s), alternate delegate(s), OR a proxy delegate;
- Whether the Local will: (a) authorize only its existing delegate(s) to cast the Local’s full membership strength at the NBPC Council Convention and the AFGE District 10 Caucus; OR elect delegates up to its full compliment, in addition to its existing delegates.
At this meeting, the members will also vote on whether to fund expenses of the delegate(s) and/or alternate delegate(s) participating in the NBPC Council Convention and the AFGE District 10 Caucus.
NOTE: The NBPC Council Convention and the AFGE District 10 Caucus are considered internal union business and official time to travel to and from these events, or to attend theevents is not authorized. As a result, delegates that attend will travel to/from these events ondays off or annual leave.
Nominations will take place on January 29, 2026 at 7:00 pm with the election, if necessary, to be held on February 26, 2026, at the Local 3307 Headquarters (4179 Crosspoint Blvd.) in Edinburg, Texas, for the office of delegate(s) and/or alternate delegate(s) to the NBPC Council Convention in April 2026 and to the AFGE District 10 Caucus in May 2026.
Qualifications: be a member in good standing; be a member for one year of an AFGE local, immediately preceding the closing of the nomination process; and must not be a member in any labor organization not affiliated with AFL-CIO. Each candidate must have a reasonable number of observers, who are members, present throughout the election process. Members who are unavoidably absent from the nomination meeting may make and accept nominations by way of letter, and may request absentee ballots, to the Election Committee at P. O. Box 530308, Harlingen, Texas 78553. Elections are governed by the AFGE Rules of Conduct for an Election, Appendix A of the AFGE National Convention.
